Turn to the epics for ideas on cloning, regaining virginity or becoming an immortal

A great treasure trove of hypotheses exists in the Mahabharata and other epics from ancient Indian literature that may lead to mind boggling scientific discoveries.

Everybody remembers Dolly, the first sheep produced by cloning. Now it is an obsession among the scientists to go for human cloning, but as per the epics, even five thousand years ago there were human clones lived in ancient India! There were two ‘acharyas’ (teachers)- one was Kripacharya, son of sage Sharadwan and the other was Dronacharya, son of sage Bharadwaj – both  were born of one parent only (so it is cloning!), according to the Mahabharata epic.

It’s great to see the wonderful imaginations with a specific scientific edge emanated from people who lived more than thousands of years ago. The scientific researchers have to churn out the Ramayana and the Mahabharata epics with due reverence and then we will be surprised! The churning will deliver the ‘Amrita’ (Nectar), the panacea for all our health issues.

Just to enumerate a few points of importance from the epics, first let us consider the theory of immortality. There are already seven immortal beings described in the epics, who will live forever as long as the world lasts. They are Ashwatama, Mahabali, Veda Vyasa, Hanuman, Vibhishan, Kripacharya and Parasu Ram.

It will now be too immature to say but cloning could eventually lead to the creation of immortals in the near future by constantly replacing old cells and organs with new cloned ones!

Reflect for a while on the ‘Mritha Sanjeevani’ plant which had resuscitated Lakshmana, the brother of Lord Rama and also about the divine drink, ‘Amrita’ which was also supposed to impart immortality.

Another field of research is that of cosmetics and body care. The sage Parasara after having sexual intercourse with the girl named ‘Matsya Gandi’ (fish smelling) had changed her into ‘Kasturi Gandi’ (musk smelling) and also restored her virginity (even after giving birth to a child!)

Then there comes the queen, Panchali who got a boon from Lord Shiva that she would be able to keep her youthful vigour and beauty even though she had to live with five husbands!
Chew upon the story of the sex change operation done by ‘Thumburu Gandharva’ on Shikandini, the daughter of Panchala king wherein she had been converted into Shikandi, a male.

The examples of cloning, immortality, virginity and body care are just a few superficial ideas. There are many more things in the depths of the great epics which the scientific, social and medical experts should dig out, and then there may come many incredible discoveries that will solve all our modern-day health issues.

Importance of Social Media for SEO and Online Presence

SEO
Your website needs search engine optimization (SEO) in order to get topped in the search results when potential clients use keywords and look for the services provided by your company. The SEO guarantees enhanced visibility, brand awareness and online marketing success.

Only the fittest survives in today’s competitive world of e-commerce and internet marketing. There will be thousands of companies similar to yours, providing the same services. To get attention, your website should be SEO friendly. Your company will get noticed only if it comes in the top 10 list of the search result page displayed by well known search engines such as the Google, Bing, Dogpile, Yahoo etc.  In order to survive and improve the business prospects, you should be ahead in your online presence and SEO is the key to achieve that goal.

The SEO provides a platform for companies and businesses to advertise and showcase their products and services to millions of users worldwide. A reputed and professional SEO provider can do wonders to your website to make it optimised for any search engines. Better SEO techniques can greatly improve the visibility of your website in the internet world through more incoming traffic.

The effective implementation of SEO improves your outlook and thus you’ll get the much needed exposure to a high percentage of internet users who make the purchases online. More consumer traffic to your website means more sales and so you need SEO for long-term business sustainability.

Social Media Marketing
Because of the widespread popularity of social media among the common public today, any business can be greatly enhanced by active social media participation. SMM is a marketing strategy that is simply too important to ignore. Social networks are growing steadily and they are providing small businesses an opportunity to reach out to a bigger audience.

Our strategy is simple and straightforward, that is, identifying people who are interested in your business and located in the geographical region where your business has coverage, and then spreading the news about you into that relevant audience circle. Your followers will be steadily increased and many of them could become possible clients.

The daily posts and interactions with other social media users boost the business prospects of the company in front of its existing customers and future clients.

First, the social media accounts are created for the clients, including a professional profile, and then relevant posts are published on a daily basis, in addition to 1 or 2 blog articles/fortnightly.

One normally gets more responses from within the Google Plus circles, but sometimes greater engagement comes from extended circles also. This is important as Google+ activities increase search engine optimization of your website.

The result of the SMM activities can be measured through Google analytics or by any other software to calculate the traffic gained.

Other Theme Options:
As Kottayam is bordered by the Western Ghats on the east and the Vembanad Lake and lush paddy fields of Kuttanad on the west, we can think of a theme of hills, trees- spices/plantations/paddy etc., and water.
Another concept can be of a fort, as the word Kottayam is originated from kotta (fort) + akam (inside) =Kottakam = Kottayam.   And  we can also think about Kottayam’s relatively new title as India’s first Mural City.
