Want to Live longer?

Vegetarianism & Super-foods Make You Live Longer!

Many researches and studies across the world have clearly asserted one thing that vegetarians enjoy a better lifestyle and thus live longer than their meat eating counter parts. Vegetarians have lower rate of diseases like cancer, kidney troubles, heart ailments, colon diseases, diabetes etc. The human digestive system is best suitable for a vegetarian diet. Vegetarians are free from negative health effects caused to the vital organs of the body by the over accumulation of cholesterol, uric acid etc that are by-products of meat food.

As vegetarians happen to take more fruits and vegetables and as these food items have very good impact in one’s overall health, this can be a contributory factor towards the longer life of vegetarians. The plant foods like nuts, vegetables, grains, salads, legumes etc contain health protective elements and generally have a positive health effect on our whole body system. The US National Academy of Science in one of their reports published in 1983 clearly mentioned that, “people may be able to prevent many common cancers by eating less fatty meats and more vegetables and grain.”

In meat products, the protein content is more and an average non-vegetarian diet will be pumping to the body five times of proteins one actually needs. And this excess is surely to damage the kidneys because of the extra load required to purify the blood from uric acid generated while digesting proteins.

Another important point to consider is cruelty to animals. Millions and millions of animals are slaughtered in the world for the meat eaters every year. These animals are usually reared in pathetic living conditions kept together in very limited spaces like narrow pens and small sheds, and in most of the cases they will be suffering from many diseases that may not get proper treatments. They are often fed with unnatural chemicals and hormones for speedy and extra growth inflicting agony to their complete body mechanism.

In many countries, often bundled in cramped conditions, these animals are transported from farm house to livestock market and from there to slaughter houses in a very deplorable condition.

These livestock also contribute to environmental pollution; they account for large emissions of methane that is responsible for global warming. Millions of acres of forest area are destroyed to make grazing pastures for the farm animals. Ammonia generated from animal waste is a major contributing aspect of acid rains.

It is thus advisable to follow a strict vegetarian food habit for a better physical health condition, and it also contributes to one’s ethical satisfaction and environmental protection.

The modern-day life styles of eating more and more packaged food, red meat etc together with pollution and highly stressful life patterns, make everybody’s health in jeopardy. In this scenario, irrespective of whether you are a vegetarian or a meat eater, it will be greatly beneficial for the overall health standard to supplement your normal food intake with super food products.

These super foods contain extra nutrients that are vital for better health and longevity of life. The super foods that contain colloidal gold are good for people of all ages. Consumption of marine phytoplankton with super nutritional contents imparts residual energy.
