Angry Birds,
the most popular video game developed by Finnish computer game developer Rovio
Mobile in Dec 2009, is going to be launched on Facebook soon. It is expected to
get on with 800 million users of Facebook at once on Valentine’s Day. The
launching will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, which has the second largest
user base for Facebook.
According to
reports, Angry Birds will transform into a social game complete with
leaderboards so users can challenge their friends on Facebook.
This
comparatively cheaper but very thrilling game has been downloaded more than 700
million times and is expected cross one billion in 2012.
The game has
wingless crazy birds which can be launched at pigs stationed on or within
various structures. All the pigs on the ground are to be annihilated and new
birds – some with special powers - appear as players advance through the game.
The amazing popularity of angry birds can be attributed to its qualities of addictive
game-play, comical style, and low price.
