Wrinkles are
signs of ageing and they have devastating impact on your outlook. The most disturbing wrinkles are those that
appear on the face and neck. On the face the wrinkles appear as permanent lines
between the eye brows and on the skin near the corners of the eyes widely known
as crow’s feet. These facial lines are caused due to frequent contraction of
the muscles accompanied by the expressions like frowning, anger, cursing etc.
Some wrinkles
are fine lines while others are deep furrows, where the fine lines can be
treated with ointments and creams, the furrows need special curative methods.
The face, neck and fore arms which are exposed to the sun are mostly affected
by wrinkles.
The reasons for
wrinkles are many. Ageing, over and unprotected exposure to sun’s ultra violet
rays, hormone changes during menopause, smoking, drug abuse and other body
disorders that affects the metabolism of the skin layers are some of the
factors thought to be causing wrinkles.
There are many
remedies available for the wrinkle problem. An expert’s advice is a must before
proceeding with any treatment. Scrubs, toner creams, moisturisers, cell
regenerators, antioxidants, nourishing substances, massage & masks,
steaming etc. are some of the many treatments recommended for wrinkles.
While using
ayurvedic creams and other natural remedies, one can also regularly practise
yoga and other meditative methods to reduce tension, stress and thereby
minimise the side effects of ageing process which in turn will avoid wrinkle
formation.
Healthy diet and
positive life style practices are also to be followed for better results. Applying egg yolk, honey and natural coconut oil on the
affected skin will also help to prevent dryness of the skin and improve the
situation.
